Strong Earthquake Tremors Felt in Islamabad and Other Cities

Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, and several other cities, causing panic among people who rushed out of their homes.

Tremors were also reported in areas of Azad Kashmir including Samahni and Bhimber. People in Murree also felt the earthquake.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, cities like Upper Dir, Lower Dir, Peshawar, and nearby areas experienced noticeable shaking.

Residents of Bajaur and surrounding regions felt the quake as well. Many people came out of their homes reciting prayers in fear.

According to the seismic center, the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.3 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan, at a depth of 234 kilometers. Strong earthquake tremors were felt, but no major damage was reported.
